What is Link Rotations & How It Works?
What is Link Rotation?
Link Rotation is a powerful feature in that allows you to rotate multiple destination URLs under a single short link. This is particularly useful for distributing traffic across multiple pages, testing different landing pages (A/B testing), or redirecting users to different URLs based on weightage of the link.
Use Cases for Link Rotation:
A/B Testing: Rotate between multiple landing pages to see which one performs better.
Load Balancing: Distribute user traffic across different servers or websites to balance the load.
Campaign Management: Rotate between different ad campaign URLs to optimize performance.
Multi-Location Businesses: Redirect users to different URLs based on region or other factors.
How Does Link Rotation Work in URL Shortify?
When you set up Link Rotation, multiple destination URLs are assigned to a single short link. Each time someone clicks on that short link, they are redirected to one of the specified URLs according to the rotation weightage we have set. URL Shortify offers Weighted rotation.
With weighted rotation, you can assign different "weights" or priorities to the URLs, meaning some URLs will receive more traffic than others. For example, if you assign a weight of 70% to one URL and 30% to another, 70% of the traffic will be sent to the first URL, and 30% to the second.
How to Set Up Link Rotation in URL Shortify
