Display Short URL Above, Below, and Within Post, Pages, & Custom Post Types Content

Introduction

This guide will help you display the short URL generated by the URL Shortify plugin in various parts of your WordPress content, such as:

• At the top of posts, pages, custom post types content

• At the bottom of posts, pages, custom post types content

• Within the posts, pages, custom post types content

• At the top of the excerpt

• At the bottom of the excerpt

Add Short URL Above or Below Post/Page Content

URL Shortify has a setting to add the Short URL above & below post & page content. Please go to

• URL Shortify > Settings > Display

• Select Where to Display short URL options from the following options

  • At the top of Posts

  • At the bottom of Posts

  • At the top of Pages

  • At the bottom of Pages

  • At the top of Excerpt

  • At the bottom of Excerpt

Where to display Short URL?

Custom Post Types options are available in URL Shortify PRO

Once you select the options, the HTML available in Displayed HTML will be added in the respective selected positions. It will also replace the %short_url% with the actual short URL of the posts, pages & custom post types.

Do you want to place the same HTML content within the Posts, Pages & Custom Post Types content?

You can achieve this by URL Shortify PRO. Once you install and activate the URL Shortify PRO, the following options will be available

Auto Replace Short URL Tag in Content

Once you select the options, you can paste the %short_url% and %short_url_without_link% tag anywhere in the content and it will be replaced by the actual short URL.
